Sausage Seasoning Mix
This sausage seasoning mix isn’t just for sausage. Although I did develop it for my Paleo Breakfast Sausage, it lends a nice flavor to any number of dishes.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon fennel seeds
1 tablespoon dried sage leaves
2 teaspoons fine salt
1 teaspoon red pepper flakes, or to taste
½ teaspoon ground black pepper
Directions
Mix together the sausage seasoning ingredients. If you have a mortar and pestle, you can use that to crush the spices a bit to release their oils. Store in an airtight container and use as needed.
